Welcome to Day of the Gundam!

Gundam Mad , the UK's original and longest running Gunpla retailer; proudly presents a fan dedicated event celebrating the incredible world of Gundam and Gunpla right here in the UK. Located in the Midlands, this event hopes to bring together the wider community of Gundam Modelling enthusiasts throughout the UK who have grown significantly over the last few years since Gundam Mad’s inception in 2004.

The event will be full of exciting events, competitions, anime screenings, panels, workshops, Special Guests, limited edition items and of course tonnes of Gunpla!

We are pleased to announce that Gundam Mad will again be hosting Day of the Gundam 2026 at the Mattioli Woods Welford Road Stadium on Saturday the 11th July 2026

Day of the Gundam 2025 was held on 12th July this year and has now concluded.

What

Day of the Gundam (Or D.O.T.G for short) is a dedicated fan convention revolving around the world of Gundam and Gunpla. It’s brought to you By the Gundam Mad Team with over 20 years of experience and the forerunners of bringing Gunpla to the UK.

Where

Day of the Gundam will take place at the Leicester Tigers Rugby Ground, the Mattioli Woods Stadium, Welford Road in Leicestershire, UK.

When

The event is held on Saturday the 11th July 2026.
