Day Of The Gundam

11th July 2026

9 AM - 6 PM

Presented by Gundam Mad

Stephanie Rose

My name is Stephanie, though many know me online as The Gamer Blonde.

I’m a Gundam and video game content creator based in South Wales, with a passion for all things mecha that started back in 2001 when I first watched Gundam Wing on Toonami. From that moment on, I was completely hooked - and the journey into the Gundam universe has only grown stronger ever since. I had never played a card game before, but the announcement of the Gundam TCG Beta pulled me right in. Seeing a fresh way to experience Gundam reignited that original excitement, and I knew immediately that I needed to be involved. What started as renewed curiosity quickly became a full return to the community. Over the last year, I’ve taken my love for Gundam TCG into the competitive scene, competing at regional events across Europe including Bristol, Seville, and Düsseldorf. With more events planned throughout 2026,

I’m excited to continue meeting players, growing within the scene, and contributing to the ever-expanding community. More recently, I’ve achieved my Gundam TCG Judge certification and will be officiating at events such as the Rungis regional, alongside other European tournaments throughout the year. Being able to support the competitive environment in this way is something I’m incredibly proud of, and I’m looking forward to helping create a positive and welcoming experience for players of all levels. At Day of the Gundam,

I’ll be hosting a panel focused on the Gundam TCG - sharing insights, experiences, and hopefully inspiring new players to get involved in what is truly an amazing and passionate community. I’m also eagerly anticipating the release of Gundam Assemble later this year, and have already been diving into building miniatures, preparing maps and tokens, and learning the game in depth. Whether it’s competing, judging, or creating content, Gundam continues to be a huge part of my life - and I’m excited to share that passion with everyone at the event.

Alessio Cavatore

The wonderful Alessio Cavatore returns and this time he has Ghost In The Shell on his mind! For nearly thirty years, Origins awards winner Alessio Cavatore has designed or co-designed many miniatures wargames, board games, card games and role-playing games. They were created either for his own company, River Horse, or for many other well-known publishers in the gaming industry, such as Games Workshop, Fantasy Flight, Warlord Games and Mantic.

Alessio alongside his colleagues from Mantic Games will be running Character Creation Sessions for the upcoming Ghost In The Shell RPG game by Mantic. A great way to engage with your inner cyberpunk and begin a dark journey into the world of Cybernetics and Espionage. Alessio will also be available for informal chats and signing autographs on anything fans bring along throughout the course of the event.

Raffaele Du Marteau

Raffaele Returns with more of his painting wizardry. He is a fantasy figure painter from Fidenza in Italy. He has won an incredible 6 Golden Demon awards and he will be running a 2 panels at DOTG2 including Gundam Assemble Painting and Airbrushing Techniques. Here's a few words from him 😄:

'Let me introduce myself My name is Raffaele and since I was a kid I have dabbled in colors and modeling The first topics were Humbrol colors, Airfix planes and Italeri toy soldiers, in the 90s I approached fantasy modeling with the fourth edition of Warhammer Fantasy Battle: acrylic colors and the concept of fantasy figurine that still accompanies me. All this led me to discover a world made of orcs, warriors, monsters, but above all other players and hobbyists who, like me, shared a passion for painting and modeling I went from painting armies to creating my own gaming tables to more professional painting, earning awards such as Golden demon etc. For about ten years my interest has also stumbled upon larger and somewhat different models, namely Gunpla, models that have brought me back a bit to the origins of my passion: military vehicles. (after all, a war robot is nothing more than a tank with legs and arms) The subjects change, but the passion is always the same, the support changes, the canvas but the enthusiasm to get involved remains. It can be a Marine, an elf, a chaos warrior, a tank or a futuristic robot: the colors, the techniques do not change, just as the desire to experiment and face new challenges does not change'

Mochi Mecha

Hello DOTG! I’m @MochiMecha.

My passion for mecha took off after an inspiring trip to Japan, the home of Gundam, and I’ve been painting Gunpla ever since, with a budding Tau army in between, and yes, I played too much Metal Gear Solid growing up.

Outside of painting and collecting, I work in video games and love exploring ways to merge those art forms. I follow the “rule of cool” and enjoy entering painting competitions to push my craft.

More than anything, I hope I can encourage people to just make what they want, how they want, because Gundam is freedom and should be fun.

Double Alpha Live

Hello there! I'm DoubleAlphaLive, a variety content creator focused around music, gaming and hobby, with a particular love for all things Gundam!

My Gundam journey started back in 2017. I've always had an appreciation for the franchise, but that was the year I picked up my first kit from, you've guessed it, GundamMad! Ever since then I've been hooked, and it is something I've been able to showcase through my content - building kits, going to events, pulling cards, and sharing the whole journey of Gundam through my content has really helped me fall in love with the hobby even more.

At Day of the Gundam, I'll be hosting the creator panel, talking about all things content creation and Gundam. With a particular focus on livestreaming and shortform content, I'm looking forward to sharing the stage with some incredible creators talking about our journeys, tips and tricks, what to do and what not to do, and hopefully inspiring others to take their first steps in their own content journey.

I'm really excited for my 2nd Day of the Gundam, and I'm really looking forward to meeting hobbyists and fans alike!

MJ (MJ2005GUNDAM)

Hi, I'm MJ2005GUNDAM, you can simply call me MJ.

I am a Gunpla reviewer on YouTube who does concise and succinct reviews, mostly on 1/144 kits, but also dabbles into MGs and other mecha series from time to time. I first started Gundam after walking in on my brother watching Gundam AGE on TV. From then, I was hooked.

Ever since I started to review more kits and did research into their source materials, I have gained a far deeper appreciation for the passion as a whole. I am excited to meet new like-minded people in the hobby, keep growing, and continue contributing to the community.

Besides reviews, my content has caught the attention of local Gunpla stores, content creators, and hobby companies alike. The popularity and exposure are nice, but my main joy comes from providing bite-sized yet detailed reviews, contributing to the community in the process.

At Day of the Gundam I’ll be hosting a panel with some other creators, sharing my journey and experiences with being a content creator in the space. I’ll also be involved in another part of the event - details on that to be announced soon!

Gundam has been part of my life since my early teens, and I'm excited at the opportunity to continue sharing my passion, no matter which face I put on to do so.

Xaerael

Xaerael returns to Day of the Gundam and will be doing various panels and hands-on workshops. Focus will fall on Base customisation, photography and panel lining for beginners Here's a few words from Xae:

'When I was a child, a relative bought me a model of the Cutty Sark. With the help of my Grandfather, we spent a weekend putting it together and painting it. I was instantly addicted to model making, and have been to this day.

I've always pushed my personal boundaries in the hobby, teaching myself electronics so I could add LEDs and other features to kits, researching how movie props were made so I could recreate them myself and always exploring new materials and paints.

Eventually, my model making hobby expanded into Cosplay, where I used the skills I had learned in model making to create scaled up creations. This aspect of my hobby reached its peak in 2011 when I took the Champion title at Eurocosplay.

These days, I mainly build Gunpla, and similar Plamo style kits. The potential for customisation, whether it's adding LEDs or using a new painting technique, makes them the ideal kit type for me. I usually prefer larger kits, as they give the biggest canvas for my creativity, but I also love the smaller kits, and the challenge they bring adding my customisations.'
