Raffaele Du Marteau Returns!08/05/2026
We're excited to announce that six-time Golden Demon award winner, Raffaele Du Marteau returns to Day of the Gundam and this year will bring you two panels focused on model painting techniques!
One will focus on painting and weathering techniques on model kits as well as Gundam Assemble. And the other on airbrushing techniques in general.
If you're looking to brush up on your techniques or perhaps learn something new entirely, these will definitely be ones to keep an eye on!
Gundam Card Game for Beginners23/04/2026
The Gundam Card Game is something we're very big fans of and we wanted to give folks who have never played the game a chance to experience it! We're happy to confirm we'll have 8 dedicated tables complete with all the equipment needed (i.e. decks, etc) for beginners to try the game!
And with that in mind, we're also excited to announce that Gundam and video game content creator, Stephanie Rose (aka thegamerblonde) is coming to Day of the Gundam 2026 and will be hosting a panel about the Gundam Card Game!
We'll have more specific details about this panel closer to the event, but Stephanie is firmly entrenched in the GCG community as someone who regularly competes in tournaments and is also an official judge for the game!
Alessio Cavatore Returns with Mantic Games22/04/2026
We’re excited to announce the wonderful Alessio Cavatore is returning to Day of the Gundam for the second successive year, but this with a primary focus of the upcoming Ghost In The Shell tabletop role playing game from Mantic Games that he’s created!
He and his colleagues from Mantic will be running character creator sessions for Ghost In The Shell! These sessions are free throughout the day and are a unique opportunity we’re delighted to bring you!
But that’s not all from Mantic Games! In our dedicated activities room (more on that soon) they’ll be hosting playable demonstrations of HALO: Flashpoint, as well as sharing an exclusive first look at the Ghost In The Shell tabletop role playing game!
Plus if that wasn't enough, Mantic Games will be in our Dealer Room throughout the day too.
Activities Room and Speed Build21/04/2026
We've been mentioning the Activities Room and today we have another addition to tell you about!
The Speed Build was very popular last year and it's back again at our 2026 event, taking place in our Activities Room.
This year it'll have a maximum capacity of 50 people and it's completely free to enter!
However, if you want to take part have to register.
We'll be taking registrations on a first come first served basis [at a time & location inside the venue that will be announced nearer to the day of the event itself.]
This is to allow as many people as possible to enter the venue and have a chance at being able to register. The Speed Build itself won't be until the afternoon.
(IMPORTANT NOTE: We'll share the exact time & location of where to register closer to the day of the event, but we can say now registrations for this won't be until at least an hour after doors have opened, and registrations for this WILL NOT be in the Activities Room itself.)
There will be some limited edition prizes up for grabs, based on both speed of building and interesting interpretation.
And of course, the Speed Build being in the Activity Room is in addition to the folks at Mantic Games being on hand with playable demos of HALO: Flashpoint and character creator sessions for their upcoming Ghost In The Shell tabletop role playing game - with the game's creator Alessio Cavatore on hand! Plus, the opportunity for beginners to try playing the Gundam Card Game!

We are super excited to announce an exciting addition to the gaming area for DOTG.
The wonderful people at FUZE technologies will be running a playable demo area for their Nintendo Switch port of the mecha themed game Gearbits.
In addition, all prizes given out throughout the course of DOTG, including the Quiz, Raffle, Speed Build and DSPIAE giveaway will all receive a free download code for the entire game on launch!
