About

Gundam Mad – Originally started by 3 friends from Yorkshire in 2004 Gundam Mad was the original supplier and introducer to Gunpla here in the UK. A few years later in 2007 Gundam Nation was founded by Gurinder S Gurm and then shortly after the companies combined in 2009 with Gurinder at the head. The Gundam Mad name was adopted and the next 15 years were spent trying to bring the best of Japanese Model kits to fans here in the UK. Over that time Gurinder met his now wife Lindsey and a great group of friends and fellow anime fans who grew to be the wider Gundam Mad family. We attended many events over the years and we’re sure we would have met many of you face to face.

After Covid, the state of the events industry took a significant turn and Gundam Mad became focused on only a few events and is now predominantly an online retailer attending only a handful of events throughout the UK. However our passion for the hobby and enjoyment of meeting our fans face to face has never diminished and we wanted to bring something special to everyone out there and the ever growing community of Gunpla fans that has exploded over the last few years.

Gurinder and Lindsey are hoping to bring the fans what they’ve been wanting, a dedicated event focusing on the joys of Gunpla, Japanese model making and the explosive worldwide success that is Gundam. This is more than a dealers room, we want to make this a family friendly celebration of everything Gundam and make this THE event for Gundam fans to come to year on year. With activities, events, screenings, a fantastic venue and centralised location we want to give back something to the community that has helped us grow from those humble early days. Here’s hoping some of you lovely people will get to join us and help Gundam Mad bring another 20 years of plastic fuelled fun to the UK Gunpla community!

Thanks for all your support – Gurinder & Lindsey (Owners of Gundam Mad)
